[REL] IJN Nagato and IJN Myoko
 
Hello Captains,

here you can get 2 japanese Warships.

The first one is the Battleship Nagato.

This mod is JSGME-Compatible and you can use it for SH4 V1.4 and SH4 V1.5.

The 3 D-Modell from the Nagato was build by "shipmodell" here from the subsim-forum.

The convertation for SH4 was made by my mate AOTD|Rhonen and it was a very hard work.

are these playable ships or AI ships for the game? and if so, will they spawn randomly in game or only in certain circumstances like year and area?

Nice!

The collision spheres in the zon need some reworking, they don't line up to the rear funnel or mast.

Also, those 2 booms behind the pagdoda don't seem to have a texture (NBB_Nagato_FREI03 and NBB_Nagato_FREI04). They also seem to float a little (not touching anything).

Very good work, now Japan has all of it's battleships.:up:

PS: Noticed the propellers don't have textures and some of the life boats are see-through and the right rudder needs inverting, some of the textures on the pagoda roof are a little odd too.

great work! this looks like a fix for missing ships in the game.

i would love to add these to my "game fixes only" mod once you get the above mentioned issues straightened out. :up:

I t needs to be added regardless of little fixes. There are plenty of models already in game that are far worse that little nitpicks like texture issues that are easily fixed.

If you are concerned about that, or even the zon issue (which has zero beering on subs since they won't be colliding with the funnel), I'd be more concerned with the truely abysmal Okinoshima model, that bears almost no resemblance to the actual ship. Or Nagara, for that matter, which looks passably like her pre-war form, but nothing at all like she or her sisters at war.

Nagato is really nice!

Hi mate,

maybe you can do this ?
I got not enough time for this in the moment cause iam working over 80 hours in a week in my job.
I released the Nagato by knowing this problems in a hope that an other great modder can fix it.
My Clanmate AOTD|Rhonen and me spend alot time for this unit and now we got not enough time to fix the last things.

agreed, but im still in the middle of major house renovations and its still going to be a few weeks before i actualy begin the mod assembly process so i was thinking this would allow time to get the kinks out of this mod. if not it will still be added as is if need be.

These point at 2 textures you have not included.

All the cables point to missing textures, too. You have none that are 2-sided.
