To sink or not to sink it?
This morning i got a aircraft contact so i dove to periscope depth. After just a few minutes at periscope depth i got a sound contact, merchant moving away. I change direction to intercept, i look through the periscope and what i see, well it caused me to re-think my attack.
It looked like a large passenger liner but was white, with the red cross's all over it,and green striping down the hull. It was a big, juicy, east target, but i wasn't sure if i should sink it,,so i turned back to my planned course and let it be. So question is,should i have sunk it or no? |
If you are seeing this red cross all over that ship.....let it go! ;) Sinking hospital ships isn't cricket.

Yes, that ship is worth something like -1000 renown if you sink it. Leave the hospital ships be.

Ahh good choice i made then. It sure was a juicy looking target tho.
Thanks for the information on the negative renown. |
You nearly collected a free pass to Nuremberg

Could have surfaced and inquired if they had any
spare GI Gin! Then dive and run like hell because they will report your position.... |
A good MOD to have would be to transfer your injured crew to a hospital ship (if you pass one), good for morale, nothing like a free cruise on a big liner :smug:
|
do you lose renown for sinking neutral shipping?
