flying u boats
is it possible to make a u boat or any ship fly??
if you know, can you tell?? because it would add some novelty to have a flying destroyer attack you randomly. thanks. P.S i put a t class into the air folder but nothing happened. |
also, is it possible to port things from il2 to sh3?? the game was made by the same company as sh3.........
it is possible to make u boats fly, but not with sustained flight. and they have poor handeling and go into death rolls. i did this using mr fleks dolphin files but when my computers hard drive died, they hwere lost. it works by u boats momentum forcing the u boat to leave the water. if planes can fly, so can u boats! |
Google for 'Cormorant Submarine'. :D
This may of interest too: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Flying_submarine |

You can always make your own sub 'fly' by modding the speed right up and then blowing basalt. Quote:
would need total conversion for SH3. It would be easier just to make them from scratch. IL2 and SH3 have nothing in common. They are not made by the same company, they are just funded and distributed by the same company. Silent hunter was developed by Ubisoft and published by Ubisoft. IL2 was developed by 1C and published by Ubisoft. |
sigh
might as well mod in flying monkeys with lasers guns. :-? |
Where are the mods for Hitler's secret flying saucer project? It's time we inject some realism into this game, dammit!

IL2 to SH3? A flight sim to a sub sim (Harhar pun) is like an FPS to Resident Evil.
