[REL] Setkeys and GWX 3.0

When I attempted to use SetKeys on my laptop to make the game more playable, it did not work correctly, so I investigated the cause and released a correction for GWX 3.0. I have tested it on my laptop and have had a couple of others test it and it appears to solve the problem
Here is the Readme:

This modification is in no way supported by the GWX development team and any questions should be directed to me at SubSim SHIII forum.

A while back, Cavalier889 developed and perfected Set Keys and supported it through version 1.3. He no longer monitors the program, so I have adapted the program to work with SHIIIGWX 3.0 Gold. I have in no way altered the SetKey1.3 program.

After GWX 3.0 Gold I attempted to set a group of keys to suit my install, but failed. I found that the number of keys needed to be increased.
After you backup the file, you need to open the command_en.cfg file in Ubisoft\ ShilentHunterIII\data\cfg\command_en, and change the following lines:
[Commands]
CommandsNb=500 to CommnadsNB=600
MaxKeyCommandsNb=190 to MaxKeyCommands=350
Save and close the file.

For those who do not want to fiddle with the files in SHIII, I have included a JSGME folder to place in your mod folder in the SilentHunter directory. Activate the mod and then run Set Keys. If you no longer wish to have the modified key layout in your game, deactivate the mod, and the original files will be restored. Your modified folder in your JSGME mod folder will now contain your changes and if you reinstall it, your key changes will be restored.

For those who do not wish to run JSGME, I have included a file to replace your command_en file with the modifications.

Jup, very nice. Before that, I've created with setkeys my own config file and pasted the keycodes in my commands file by hand...

Is there a printer friendly copy of all the new keys that I've created using SetKeys? Or am I on my own to just remember them?

There is an option to print the configuration you have created before you exit the program

There is? I must be blind cuz I don't see it. Under file there's Open, Save, and Exit. Edit has Find. Options has Background Image. And Help has an expanded Help menu and About. Maybe I'm running the wrong version?

My version says 1.11, but it's the only version I can find apparently.

The current version if 1.3 (http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/down...o=file&id=1016)
The option to print is under "file" not options.

You're right. I must've downloaded and installed a different one. I thought I had used the GWX one, but I guess not.

Thank you for this. I was going nuts trying to sort my new laptop out.

Worked perfect for me.
