I want to modify dds. file but don't know what to use
Hey everyone, today i was thinking to "improve" one of the dds. picture files in SH4 but the only program that i have is paint, and it wont let me, what could i use?
|
You could look into Gimp for altering that file. Check to see if it does alpha channels. I believe it's free.
http://www.gimp.org/ Photoshop is the graphics program king.....but mucho expensive. |

Yes that would be the polite thing to do, I have made the mistake of not doing that when I first released my original uniform mod however, I did give the person credit for the original artwork. I will say this though if you are just editing something for your own personal use and not adding it to a mod for public release, then in all honesty I just change it and move on... but if I am using for a public release, then of course it is just common courtesy... |
Little late, but Paint.net works well for editing .dds files also. And, like Gimp, it's free.
