New record in political scandals

So what is it with demmicrates and interns?:hmm: This won't get much press out of the Northwest, so pull up a chair and get some popcorn because, this is intertainment at its best.

The newly elected and very openly gay mayor of Portland Oregon, has a little political scandal on his hands. He has not been in office for 3 weeks, and he'll probably be forced to re-sign.:rotfl:

You see, the mayor likes interns.... underage interns. He had been grooming a boy for a future sex partner. Too bad that's against the law, that makes you a criminal sexual predator!

He vowed to not step down... His explanation: "oops:oops: "

Now everybody, even the alternative lifestyle-types (gays, lesbians, transgender, beastiality, did I miss anybody?) have thrown him under the bus and want him out!

Now the Attorney General is looking into criminal charges. oops:oops:

The best part of all of this; His faux outrage during the campaign that his opponent would question his life-style, on the point that gay men groom younger boys for the "life-style."

(his opponent is also a democrat, no republicans in Portland)

Everyone knows that is a myth.

...oh wait, it's not a myth??? ...and you engaged in that behavi(u)or...

Oh, I see it was just a lapse of judgement. Okay nevermind

Remember everybody, it's just sex, who cares.:know:

Well, I think the numerous scandals involving closet-case Republicans over the last 2-3 years provide a lot more entertainment value with their irony factor, but this is none the less very deplorable.

Well the cases that actually turned out to be true or have any credibility behind them, the Republican in question was held to account. Larry Craig was one. And he's gone. Randy Duke Cunningham? In Prison. Democrats have a difficult time holding their own to account. Look at William Jefferson and stuffing the freezer with $90,000. In Jail? Nope. He keeps his seat and chairmanship....well until his voters thankfully got rid of him. Harry Reid's land dealings? He gets rewarded as the Senate Leader. Miss Nancy and the Starkist tuna pay to play corruption? She leads the House. Look at the mess from Charlie Rangel and tax issues. Held to account? Nope. What about Mr. Obama's treasury nominee Geithner? Tax-cheat to become the one who leads the agency in charge of collecting taxes. There is a huge difference here. The Democrat scandals, of which there are many, are almost a tragic comedy if they weren't so serious. Serious because they rarely seem to be held to account for any of their actions. One only needs to look and laugh at the arrogance of those who do these things and act as all is well with a straight face. And to hear the drones explain it all away is also laughable and plainly futile.

Do Democrats get away with everything, or is it futile? Which one?

In short Sea Demon, just about everyone of them has a skeleton in the closet...some come out.

Our democratic mayor in Baltimore is up on 12 counts of corruption, bribery and granting government contracts to her boyfriend. She has been indicted already and it is just about over for her. Thus marches on our weird twisted folks who run the country:88)

I'm sure most of you are old enough to remember Marion Barry, right?

What is futile is trying to make it seem like their (Dems) corruption doesn't exist en mass despite it being right up in your face. It's inescapable. Drones of the left aside, I have always found it odd that Democrats could ever point fingers at anybody for anything. They exude stink beyond all stink.

Real issue here shows that many if not all government officials are corrupt or criminal by nature. Who they sleep with is a minor issue. Who they're screwing is a hole other ball game.

Doesn't matter which side of the fence you support there all crooks.

This guy made too many enemies and he got caught. ;)

Oh, long ago. That's exactly what gives me the ability to laugh and attacks on people like me, that are clearly fueled by hatred. :yep:

Don't consider an honest assessment or strong opinion against your politically confused ideology as a personal attack or hatred.
