What's The Difference?

What exactly is the difference between VIIC and VIIC/41? I know the 41 has those launchers on the front, but that just cosmetic, right? But functionally, is their a difference in the game?

The VIIC\41 had a deeper crush depth and could dive deeper than any u-boat.
