Problem when finishing mission
 

Good morning!

I´m stuck after finishing a patrol.
I´m currently stationed in Wilhelmshafen. When I go on a patrol, I get the message "New Base: Brest", but the mission ist AM53 with start and return in Wilhelmshafen.
I made my patrol, went back to harbour, and the carreer is over, I´m dead.
When I go to Brest after the patrol, it works, but then I get a mission from Brest to Wilhelmshafen, the next one is from Wilhelmshafen to Brest.
After doing a mission with start and return in Brest, I get killed again.
Even if I start the mission and the patrol without moving, the career is over.
What could be the problem here?
I have currently installed only graphical mods
(Nav-Tools, Damage Mod v2, Moon)

You get a message saying you die?

Regardless, to stop those messages, go this folder.

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\silent hunter 3\data\Cfg

And click on the Flotillas file.

What Flotilla are you?

No, I actually get no message.
I press "ESC", "End Patrol" and I can choose to continue or "Anlegen in: Wilhelmshafen" (German Version")
Then I get the patrol summary, with no medal or anythin else.
The Arrow in the lower left corner brings me to Main Menu.
When loading the career, the last Savepoint is "Dead" when trying to load I get a "Career lost".
Flotilla is 1 I think.

I had the error once I played which told me, the war is over in 1940!
So I had to edit the Career.cfg and edit the line
warover=true.
But i dont find the "killed" line....

Playing stock, I had a very similar experience. After I was advised "base changed to Brest", I noted that Brest was not on the nav map. After uttering an expletive, I decided to head for where Brest should be to have a look. When I got there, I found the docks and was given the option to "dock at Brest". Henceforth, Brest has been rendered normally in blue on the nav map.

Yes you are at the changeover point between ports which stock has wrong

Not got a stock install on comp so cant advise you of what date to change unless my memory is right

Go to C:\Ubisoft\SilentHunterIII\data\Cfg

Open the Flotilla cfg in notepad and look for this section - will look slightly different to yours as the Ist flotilla wasnt in Wilhelmsaven but Kiel but ignore that

The bits in yellow are what you need to look for and change - the second month highlighted needs to be one after the first on highlighted

Well, it worked, that I´m not transferred to Brest, but when I do the next mission, Patrol AM53, and I dock at Wilhelmshafen, the career is still ended with status "dead".

I tried changing Flotillas, transferred to Lorient. -> Also dead after Patrol
Changed Boat to an other type -> Also dead after Patrol

I'd suggest you reinstall and add nothing extra.

Reinstall did nothing new.....
Uninstall and play another game .....
