Could The Force be with you? A toy due in stores this fall will let you test and hone your Jedi-like abilities.

The Force Trainer (expected to be priced at $90 to $100) comes with a headset that uses brain waves to allow players to manipulate a sphere within a clear 10-inch-tall training tower, analogous to Yoda and Luke Skywalker's abilities in the Star Wars films.
I'd love to have seen the marketing tests on this. The kids have to think, carefully, to get a ball to move up and down. It sounds slightly more interesting than watching cement dry, but not much. I'd give it half an hour for the novelty to wear off. For diehard, cultish Star Wars fans, maybe fifteen minutes more.

God help the makers of the toy if Lucas hasn't approved it. Though with the way he's beating the PT with a stick at the moment it really doesnt surprise me.

And its not like Luke hasn't become a god in the EU anyway.

Meh, just give me the manual for the ''Force-Choke'' :p

Do you all honestly believe that toy works off of brain waves ? And at $100.00 bucks ?

Only a blonde would buy into that pos. :p

A while back, there was a computer game that came with these measuring devices that you attached to your index fingers if I remember correctly. They measured the amount of electric current that went through you body. One could see the amount of electricity on the puter screen, supposedly it told you how stressed you are. The objective was to lower the resistance to the electric current and become fully relaxed.

Not sure about the voltage though, anything significant wouldn't relax me, that's for sure. :)

If a vacuum pump was added to that plastic tube.

You could make something bigger but, it wouldn't be brain waves. :p :rotfl:
