Help with loading torps.
Hey guys.
Nice forum you got going here. It´s been very helpfull and I´ve gound a lot of answers to my questions (I´m new to SH4 but not to SH3). Though, there is some problems I couldn´t find the answers to. It takes ages to reload my torpedo-bays. I´ve got "Realistic loading" un-checked in the gamesettings but it still takes hours. On my current patrol, I´ve been waiting for about 8 hrs and still not a single torpedo is reloaded. I´ve must have done something wrong, right? :damn: Look at this: http://i128.photobucket.com/albums/p...160901_502.jpg So far doesn´t seem to matter whether I´m surfaced or below, battlestations-mode or not... Any advice? Cheers // JonB |
I am not sure as the surfaced condition but make sure you deselect silent running.
Silent running mode will prevent the torpedoes from being reloaded. So secure from silent running. Double check if you are not sure. Also make sure you man the rooms completely. Battles stations will increase the speed of reloading because everyone will be working in the room. Caution when crisis is over make sure to secure from battle stations as this will wear out the crew and stop them from sleeping too. BTW Welcome to Sub Sim.:D |
Damn Neon, that was a quick answer. Thanks!
And it was just like you said, I had silent running activated and when I turned it off; Voila! Thanks a lot, m8 |

Aha! I am having the same problem, but hadn't looked for/posted for an answer yet.
Good point on the battlestations note - I forgot once and suddenly found that every command was "Unable to comply" - turns out the entire crew was asleep from exhaustion! 8 hours sitting still at 120 feet was enough to rest everyone. |
