looking for convoys

I am running a career in 1941 based in France, and so far, finding nothing but single ships, no convoys. When and where can I expect to find some convoys? Thanks! Joe S

What version of the game are you playing.

If it's GWX3.0 I may be able to help you.........I'm considering releasing a SpySat mod which has been useful for testing purposes in the past.

I like the spot north of Ireland.:yep:

AM 52 and 51 are almost cheating, considering the convoys that pass through there. Luckily the Northern Irish are more than happy to help sink Brit cargo.

Early in the war yes, the convoys there are easy prey. But later, with increased number of ASW patrols, it's not that easy anymore. Not to mention shallow waters. :D

AM 51 and half of 52 is more than 1000 m

You're right, it is . I guess I had AM53 in mind.

ín 2.1, but hate those planes..

Joe S 01-04-09 09:58 PM

I assume that if I go to those areas there will be some traffic there and not just in my assigned patrol area. Am I correct? Thanks! Joe S

meduza 01-05-09 06:41 AM

That's correct. There will always be some traffic there, regardless of your patrol area.

Jimbuna 01-05-09 10:55 AM

Quite a few patrolling escorts as well.....not exactly the easiest of pickings.
