Can't seem to end patrol
 

I'm running RFB 1.4 on stock SH4 with the Torpedo fix.

On my first assign patrol area in the Salmon Islands I stay in the patrol area untill it says it's complete, then ocntinue on hunting down merchant shipping. Finally I need to reload torpedos and fuel.

First I go to Java for refueling, then hunting some more on my way back to Midway, but neither places I'm am able to end the patrol??

All my missions objectives are complete. What do I need to do?

you must return to your "home" port, usually pearl to start ther game but it will be the blue anchor symbol. all other ports will only refuel and resupply not end patrol.

I've been having a similar "problem" ... I return to my home port but can only re-fuel and re-arm and then after getting underway I am ordered to a new patrol area. This has happened on the same patrol for three times. I just checked the map on the current patrol and the "blue anchor" seems to be similar to all the other friendly ports with similar anchors except that my home port's anchor symbol is tilted counter-clockwise. The time frame is early 1942 and I've just assumed that I'll eventually be allowed to end the patrol and get credit for a new boat or patrol.

Ha ha - thanks for the hint. I assumed my homebase was midway since that was where I started from. But the "tilted" anchor was situated on Pearl. I finally was able to end my patrol.
