No, really, I just wondered the same thing last night while watching news about israel bombing the fock out of mosque's in Gaza. Kinda sad that the world shut's it's eyes from this. I'd be interested to know how many of those 200+ were actually terrorists..

In the US they call it a surgical strike with the difference that they kill only a village(in Iraq and Afg.)per one terrorist and in Israel they erase whole districts.

The innocent will always be the true victims as long as they hide amongst civilian settlements.

I honestly don't know the answer but often wonder who is actually the main party at fault......the terrorists basing their activities amongst innocent civilians, or the Israelis for striking back in areas they know are inhabited by civilians.

I suppose the answer is 'both' :hmm:

Terrorist is a very convenient word. I guess the meaning would go like this: guilty or not, can be killed. At least that's the way it works. I don't know how much truth lies in a movie called Munich, with Eric Bana(said to be based on facts)but that's how it looks like on the Middle East.

As far as I know no terrorists were killed in the attacks, as it turns out the F-16 is a pretty safe ride for them.

Don't pretend to know whats right or wrong on this one. But I do know I'm tired of Israel being the kid in class that can do no wrong, sanctioned by the US of A.

Gaza is not the kind of place you can hide military bases in.
It is 25miles by 4-7 miles in size.
I know every field within a radius of 25 miles from my house like the back of my hand.

There are almost no places in Gaza that are not near houses and the few places that
are are very, very exposed.

Saying that civilians are only the victims because the resistance to Israel is based near
houses does not make sense.

I applaud Israel for being so restrained and allowing how many? 75 rockets land and kill Israelis before responding? Remarkable cool.

Somehow, i think the Israelis are worse than a fart from Obama and Palestinian combined. No one seems to care when they die. The worlds ears only seem to perk up when a Palestinian dies.

This makes you guys look sick and biased. Did I mention you look hypocritical too?

Hmm, mby this "75 rockets" happens once in a blue moon or never. Why it wasn't in the news?Or BBC webpage? I haven't noticed a thread called "75 rockets massacred the Israelis" by SUBMAN1. (if you are so sympathetic)

I think everyone must realise how restrained they have been in recent years when you consider the military actions carried out previously.

I used to say there would never be a cure in the Middle East or in Northern Ireland.

I was wrong on one count....I hope I'll be proven wrong again.

I was trying to stay on the positive side of news and ignore what is happening, but I can't let you stand there and say that its a shame what Israel is doing, and I know you know that it is happening, so why are you not sympathetic?

Israel is anything but restrained. It's crazy to see how efficient is the Israeli propaganda machine, that's one topic on which all the media are on the same line, from left to right and from the US to Europe.
