Homing torpedoes
 

I was wondering..........is the fido asw homing torpedo added to any of the allied planes in any of the mods?

No.

Not for SH3.

There are no AI torps that work properly in SH3.
(At this point in time)

Someone should make one "AI torpedoes" mod :/

yes, you're right, I would really want some more modern submarine war aspects. In my eyes one is caught between very good, but ww2 only sims or sonarlysts' miserable DW, no in between :-?

Anvart and Ref are two of the very best!
Both knocked themselves out trying to crack the AI torps stuff.

I was lucky enuff to see most of this work.

But many people ask this very same question from time to time.

Sergbuto made a virtual torp,
Racerboy had a 'Hype Speed Torp' (Never released)

But No one has ever released a TRUE AI Torp.

I'd bet every Modder out there has attempted this one.
I'd also say we all failed!
