Happy birthday, elder statesman
 

Simply the best we ever had. On 23rd, he became 90 years old. On some of his security-political decisions and policies, as well as predictions, we still base today - both in Germany and the US. Since his active political years, he long since has turned into a philospher of high ranks, and - in germany - an extremely popular voice of moral judgement and laser-brained political analysis and comment in society. And he never hides what he thinks, and says what he means.

Happy birthday, Schmidt (and still chain-smoking on...:D ) !
