Can this be done?

ahoj everybody and merry xmas!

I just thought about the possibilities of multi skinning and would like to know this:
Can the multi skinning option be used to put more different sky textures (espeacially different cloud formations) into sh3?

And another question concerning GWX and SH3 Commander's "malfunction" feature: If there's a malfunction I never surely know if it's a game feature of just a loading bug because in the crew management menu no equipment of my sub is colored in yellow (= slightly damaged), orange (= damaged) or red (= destroyed). Is it possible to connect SH3 Commander generated malfunctions with this menu of the sim?

thanx for your support

P.S.: This is a great communitiy where people act with fairness and respect. Thank you all very much and have a peaceful xmas!

I would think that there is one sky.tga and the game is programmed to use that specific file. However from what I read Dave doing SH4 resolved the problem of seeing sun and day light reflections...time of day and so on

i don't use it, but i guess that is how it is supposed to work, after all, you are not supposed to know what has been sabotaged.

There's a way to make the game load a random cloud file for every mission via the SH3 Commander. This would give atleast some variety to the clouds, so you wont see the same clouds on every mission.

Random Cloud File

Really?? That's very interesting news to me! Where are those extra cloud files located? And can I put in more to get more cloud styles?

thanx and merry christmas!
