Gallup Polls are calling people. - annoying!

I just e mailed them with a request to remove me from their calling list.

Here is the e mail.

I dont know why Gallup called me in the first place but i can provide you with this information. (a) i have zero confidence in congress... they have long forgotten who they work for (b) im hopeful about Obama but hope means nothing... he has a long 4 years to go before he proves anything (c) my consumer confidence is 'negative' because i can hardly buy anything 'American made' anymore (d) im not satisfied nor dissatisfied with the state of the nation... im utterly disgusted with it.

I hope this information was helpful... Now, please remove me from any and all of your calling lists, mailing lists, and e-mailing lists, i hate getting calls like this as most people do and i would rather stub my little toe once a day for the rest of my life than be disturbed with solicitation, polling and sales calls even once. Ha! Nice one. =)

I got only polled once(around 3 years ago), and they wanted to ask about the pollution of the Chesapeake Bay and Global Warming. They hang up on me after I told them that I believe man made global warming is a hoax, Never heard from any pollster ever since.

Another case of polls being made to say what they want it to say. Regardless of who 'they' is.

Here in Australia we have a "Do not call" regisitry. It means that telemarketers can't ring you, and there is set times for others to ring you. charities and a couple of other organisations can still call you.
