GWX Experience point!

Hello !

I have question about the main distinction, between sinking a ship or shoot down
enemy airplane, which give me the best benefit in the game? And the second one
how calculating this, in unit or tonnage to get the experience for the crew?

THX for your co-operation

Sinking an ship definitly. More points and of course, it's more important for the allied war effort. :yep:

Insanity

Its insane to go after air crafts. They were the major reason the U-boats became ineffective later in the war.

My advice is keep well away from planes. Unless you cant avoid it.
Planes are the devil.:arrgh!:

Submarines are made so they can escape and hide from the enemy. They aren't made to chase down and sink aeroplanes.:sunny:

Don't forget that renown is directly linked to you realism level.

If you're playing at 100% you'll get the renown that Jimbuna listed. If you're at 50% then you'll only get half the renown.

The particular values can be found in a .cfg file named starting with the classdesignation in each class folder in Sh3folder/Data/Air or Sh3folder/Data/Sea. It's going to be a hell to figure out the renown value for every kind of vessel or plane. Better to take Jimbuna's list as proof that it won't be profitable to kill planes.
