Crew management question.

Is there any way to set where each crew member goes when various manning situations are selected ("surface cruise", "submerged attack", "damage control", etc.)? I always find my crew in a less than ideal manning, with the need to move crew around, whenever I select a manning option.

Thanks!

the do it yourself method is best.

i have never used any of the "suface cruise" or "surfaced attack" options

Agreed.
Besides, it has been reported that using those functions may cause CTD.

I haven't had any issues with CTD's with those "buttons"...so far. I'll just keep tweaking the crew after changing the manning.

Thanks!

Yep. I have had the same problem so I stopped using them.

I never had a problem using those buttons while playing the stock game (go figure:hmm: ) but there is a section in the GWX manual which specifically warns against using them due to the risk of ctds so I no longer use them. I'd move crew around manually if I were you as it seems to be the "safest" way to go.
