GameRanger: a new place to play Silent Hunter II online
 

Hi, all just thought I'd let you know about a new multiplayer network I've created for playing Silent Hunter II and Sub Command: Seawolf online called GameRanger.

Basically, GameRanger makes it quick and easy to play your friends online.

It has full lobby support for over 500 different games and demos (including the above games, of course), without the hassles and headaches that usually happen with network connections (eg. routers & firewalls).

I'm really excited to be releasing it, and hope it helps boost the sub community by allowing people to play that were unable to until now due to problems with opening ports, etc.

Finaly a place to play SHII and DC :up:

Was a bit frustrate when Ubi$oft put the plug out :down:

Never understand why they put the plug out :hmmm:

But they do :rock:

It was so fun to play whit real DC players (Not whit AI **** that com after :down:

The probleme is there no place to made meeting whit other SHII players :-?

It was a very fun game (realy not understand why nobody still playing the game) :hmm2:

For me ShIII, SHIV, SH V and compagnie was big ... (have sencorred my self:rotfl2:) I not see the fun playing a game whit only AI oppened ?

Maybe I'm abit out of the time but I'm still not understand why Subsim and compagnie have relegate shII to "garbidge".

Maybe I'm getting to old for this, aniway ?.

congratulations, what a great idea! Finally somebody takes faith in his own hands and leaves the UBI-loosers behind.:up:

I've had some of my best online game experiences with SH2 vs DC.
It is MUCH MORE FUN to fight real persons playing the destroyers, i always hated UBI for not going on with that concept in SH3-5. Playing in CO-OP modus versus the AI ships is not the same, its really boring and absolutely nervewrecking (nobody follows the attack plan, every one fires as soon as possible so he can get his credits) too.

I have been playing SH3 online sub vs sub a lot instead, because i love to fight against real persons; it is way more interesting and exciting.

I will show up soon at your place, be prepared for the eels of Dark-Star (my online name for gaming)
