You (unmentionable in a public forum).

For a week now you people in this forum have wasted time I could otherwise have spent on studying for my University exams.

Even now I could be studying for an exam that I have very shortly, but instead I am writing this message simply to read the witty and interesting replies that invariably seem to result from a post in these forums.

The irony is that as of this moment I have not played Silent Hunter 3 in over a year, due initially to the fact that I couldn't sink a thing and now because I don't have a computer that could run the game.

I stumbled across the forum again (and found that my account is still active) only a week ago and in that time not only have you blatantly wasted time that could otherwise have been spent studying but also rekindled (massively) my interest in a game that is guaranteed to waste more of my time than World of Warcraft. World of Warcraft at least I will never play because of the associated monthly costs, unlike Silent Hunter which has no such disincentive.

I would just like to say damn you all for creating the best gaming forum on the internet and rekindling an almost obsessive interest in a game that I will not be able to play until I return home a month from now.

Why thank you! We really appreciate it, especially Bernard, J.S. Balz, Dinsdale, and myself, KptLt. Bernard Von Awful. By the way, why aren't you studying for your exam!?:stare:

Back in my day we did not have all these distractions at college, no TVs, maybe a record player, maybe a typewriter to borrow, no computers, no gizmos, microwaves, UTubes, Ytubes or GlueTubes. All we had were women and beer ... and Helga! :up: Hit the books (or screen or tablet or whatever they do now). :D And yes I did walk miles through snow to get to class with holes in my shoes.
