If that last one weren't so sad, it would be funny. It's definitely the craziest election I can remember.

There are bound to be issues, just like the last few elections. There were reports weeks ago of various organizations revving up their lawyers in anticipation of "irregularities"... Here, in our voting place, we still use paper ballots and pencils... seems to work just fine.

Now, if we could just lose the Republican electoral votes so my ballot actually meant something...

I wasn't paying attention to the title, Mikhayl. It was her sentiment, that if Obama gets elected, she won't have to worry about anything any more. I know what she said. She truly believes that all will be well if Obama is elected. That's what is sad because no one is going to be able to make all well, no matter how hard they try. Not for a long time, anyway.

I can't believe that you would so rapidly assume that I am an idiot and fall for the terrible title. I know what she said and what she said is sad because she actually believes it.

The only interest of this video really is the title, so yes in the end your first comment stands true, it's sad & funny :D

The problem is why the person is believing or trusting, in my opinion. That's a whole 'nother argument that we're all probably tired of, so I'll leave it at that:D

I imagine that there will be incidents like that perpetrated by both sides. I sincerely hope it doesn't end up being violent.

Yup.. crossing my fingers to keep it peaceful.

the voting system already is crazy enough. And there will be voting accidents, mishaps, even fraud happening, even without my or your help to blow up the overall mess. So why not just sit and wait until they stopped counting and give the result?

Maybe because the result won't be valid if stuff like this is going on?:hmm:

On the other hand, who can truly know that the results are valid. Perhaps it would be best to flip a coin every 4 years and just do away with elections.

What do they call that, the law of unintended consequences?

Sure you can, why not, I don't think half the people running for office are qualified to consume oxygen, much less run the conuntry:rotfl:

You need to widen your tolerance, else none of the past votings would have been valid. Hell, four years ago and again some months ago the EU even seriously considered to offer sending election monitors.

Thomen 11-04-08 04:18 PM

Very unlikely... but still possible.

The interesting part comes with ca. 40 sec left on the timer..
