what the hell, i just started off the coast of africa (gwx)
 

started a new career and did the little mik run from konig. afterwards i refitted my sub, hired some extra crew, put in a transfer to 2nd flotilla and started my next patrol.

the patrol starts with me in grid FG off the coast of africa!!

ewww.. now i gotta creep at slow speed up to england.

Any other mods ?
Usually start off Africa when game cannot find flotilla or problem with flotilla cfg

If failing in transfer to another flotilla will make you spawn to another starting patrol location. But you just wrote in africa, so i think this is a bug

It's a known bug - occasionally you'll start off the coast of Africa at 0 degrees lat and long.

I first saw it when I tried to use an old career with a supermod (against advice!) and once when I installed a new mod.

Wow haven't seen that one in awhile....

I suffered from this in stock when I installed a mod (can't remember which one) but I haven't seen it in GWX since I installed the bugfix.:up:
