Draft Changes
 

hello all,

ive got gwx 2.0 and everythings great except for one thing - the draft of the type IXD2. as it stands, it sits quite high in the water - too high - with its stern just about consistently raised out of the water. anyway, if anyone could direct me in editting the config files or has anything to help in general itd be much appreciated.

You need Silent 3ditor which will allow you to play with the .dat .sim .zon .val .cam and .dsd files.

I think that it's in the sim file under unit_Submarine but I may be wrong.
I'm sure someone more knowledgeable will be along shortly...

It's the sim file on the uboat's folder.
SilenthunterIII -> data -> Submarine -> subclass you want -> subclass.sim
You'll need S3D to open the file.

Inside, explore the nodes like in the picture:

The correct value for the IXD2 draught would be something between 5.5 and 6.

actually its all done - much easier than i thought. thanx heaps for all ure help, that silent 3ditor program is gold.
