Hmmm interesting
I was watching a Youtube video the other night and wanted to save it to my computer but was unable to figure out how. Is keepvid.com the answer?
|

I use You-ripper. Its free and it saves it as a FLV file.

The latest free RealPlayer (v. 11) can save and play flash (flv) videos off websites, too. I use it all the time.

I know another site:
kcoolonline.com :ping: You can also convert .flv files into .wmv so you could skip over some footage unlike viewing in .flv, it makes things a little screwy. If you want to view it in .flv or .wmv, VLC media player is recommended. |
This little doodad (a javascript bookmarklet) works in Firefox and Internet Explorer to add a link on a Youtube page to allow you to download the video as an MP4.
