In less than two weeks we will close shut the horrible chapters of all white rule here in America. This thread is so much credit to Obama, I vote to merge it with the "Slam Obama" thread. It gives about as much credit and positive image to the left wing as the average Subman post :88)

#1 It shows outright why politics need to be banned from nonpolitical forums.

#1 Subsim actually is more balanced in its community than many military and simulation forums. The usual people flooding the forum with propaganda are seen on every forum.

#2 There are many people here that are middle or left that simply just dont get involved with the political crap here. If I spent every day countering one particular poster's propaganda here I would go nuts!

I see plenty of left of center opinions posted here (supported by the left and refuted by the right). What makes FBs any different (other than the obvious). I see leftist opinions being bashed by the right and rightist opinions being bashed by the left. I even see leftist opinions being bashed by the left:D

No, Sir. You can either make your political statement like Colin Powell or the Dixie Chicks. Both support Obama , but only one carries respect.

Um, I've stated a number of rather left-oriented (socialist) opinions on certain issues repeatedly, and yet for some reason I've never had to resort to personal attacks, insults towards the community in general, and inappropriate language. There are at least a half-dozen other liberal members here who put up very good arguments and never go beyond simply being a bit spiky and sarcastic. And there are many members from a lot of different political backgrounds here whose ability to articulate opinions from their position I highly respect.

Like, you know, there's a difference between stating an unusual or strong opinion and being a drama queen.

Yeah it's a mistake to take Subman's posts as a reference. I guess each forum has its own "Subman", the thing is there's only room for one. I don't know if that's fair or not, but well I don't see his position as so enjoyable (ie being mocked by pretty much everybody on most topics).
