Loving OLC

It's great, everything looks just awesome.

Here's the whining part:

The nav map is now um, scary! How can I add back in tails, unbroken detection lines, the compass rose that turns with your boat and make the detected stuff actually appear on the map without zooming out so far I can see the US and russia in one shot?

Wuss! :rotfl:
:)

I don't have the time to play constantly in real time so I can keep track of where I am, lol. I just get a little lost without this stuff!

No worries. I was just checking the files to remind myself how to do what you want.

Disable OLC GUI Special in JSGME.
Then right-click on it and select Explore. It'll open the OLC GUI Special folder. In the Submarine folder, delete all the German U-boat folders i.e. NSS_Uboat*
That'll get back the bearing indicator.
Now download OLC GUI 1.2.7 and open it up in Winrar or 7zip. Find a file called maps.cfg (somewhere in the Menu folder) and replace your OLC GUI Special maps.cfg with the one from OLC GUI 1.2.7. That'll make contacts show even when zoomed.
Finally, find and delete Contline.tga from OLC GUI Special. That'll make the contact lines less broken.
Now re-enable OLC GUI Special and you're good to go.

I always get a sense that some of you have been on patrol and without lady friends for far too long :rotfl:
