Model kit manufacturers
 

Who are some good kit makers who might do the Polikarpov I-153 and I-16, basically something out of the ordinary.

Also can you recommend some good online retailers?

Heller makes an I-153, as does Smer. There was a Heller one on Ebay with a 'Buy-it-now' price of $9.99.

It's gone, but others certainly come and go all the time.

Revell used to make an I-16, but though it looked nice it wasn't very accurate. There have been other, better kits but they are rare. I even at one point had a vac kit of the I-152 (I-153 but with fixed landing gear).

Look around the web. They are out there.
