If you like fur
http://www.peta.org/feat/ChineseFurFarms/index.asp
Speechless... Never bough fur before, and after seeing this, I don't think I'll ever buy. |
Geez, why don't they just kill the things
Quite disgusting, but I would hope not all fur is obtained in this way. I'm glad I don't own any Chinese fur, that's for sure... I'm not against fur. But it's better if it comes from dead animals. In principle there's nothing wrong-er about fur than any other dead animal product (meat, leather and what have you), and I wouldn't trade my old Russian fur hat for anything in the (Canadian) winter - no synthetic stuff comes even close. It's a practical, healthy and sensible material... again, as long as what it comes from is already dead by the time they get the fur. |

Just like a lot of consumer products. Doesn't surprise me.
I don't think all Chinese producers would go to these extremes (Peta tends to show the extremes, as I've observed), but noone would argue that manufactiring ethics is far from being China's strong suit :-? (although when it comes to manufacturing ethics in China, I think they better stop poisoning their own babies with food chemicals before they get to animal rights issues. China hasn't even gotten the human rights thing straight, so no surprise the animals are further behind still...) |

There's a lot of sick people out there, who might skin alive just for fun. Bleh, I'm disgusted enough already... I'll read another topic. |
 And I realy didnt care for china before.
1 They make products with lead paint, now there skining animals alive.:nope: |
I know the fur farmers can't be making that much, even enough to afford a darn .22 pistol, but they could at least use a club. It would make skinning the animal at least easier to perform. It could also serve as a food source if done right. Raccoon is some good eatin'.

Maybe clubs void the warranty:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: I'm going to hell. |
Slavery wages, which is why the good old US of A has virtually no manufacturing base left since 90% of our industry is over there. But that's what corporate America wanted. To pay low wages to increase profits, and since the Commie Government over there tells you what you will earn, they control the wages, which are the equivalent of about .25 cents American per hour, and .30 cents an hour if you have a clue about what you are doing. Or at least that's what my EPA Rep told me when we were discussing cheap copied import versions of a/c compressors compared to american made versions. And let's not talk about the quality difference, other than my customers know if I use a "Shanghai Knockoff" there is no warrenty / guarantee due to poor manufacturing quality.
Ohhhhhhhhhhhh that pic is bad dude!!!!!!!!!! sic, really sic |
That Video is very disturbing I might add
there is no swear word I can possibly think of in any of my known languages to name those fur farmers.:stare: HunterICX |
Well, that didn't make me think twice.
