Don't even get me started on what I think about the "tourist in space" program. I believe that it's dangerous and puts the lives of not only the tourist, but the other astronauts at risk. A proper astronaut recieves YEARS of drills and training. These guys get a couple months training for some emergency procedures and are pretty much told not to touch anything and are sent on their way. There's no way these guys could be anywhere near as prepared for an emergency situation like a proper astronaut is. :nope:

I'm not even going to read the article.

I hope he LOSES.:yep:

Maybe they should make him an offer, 2 for the price of one!

Using that same logic though, should I be allowed to sail aboard a cruise ship without being a sailor properly trained in how to handle a ship in an emergency, such as a fire, or flooding?
What about flight? It's also true that I would not be prepared as a trained pilot in an emergency. :hmm:

While I can see your point, space is a more dangerous environment, it shouldn't be off limits to tourists.

Come off it. If you had just paid $21 million dollars for a flight into space and then had it cancelled, I know you'd be pissed and would try to get your money back.
