Are you sure that's what she did? Would any sane doctor even let her do that? I would think that would put her lungs her diaphragm at serious (possibly fatal) risk. Seems to me like it might be something else?

Hmm, thinking about it more, I'm starting to think that really can't be what she did. The diaphragm attaches to the ribs, and I don't think it's possible to remove ribs like that without basically killing or crippling someone.

So it probably is just a case of a lifetime corset wearer - someone at that age wouldn't be very comfortable standing around like that and wearing such tight clothes after an operation that invasive.

Or a severe case of the Photoshops
