Can the future be predicted 100 years in advance?
Can men make predictions or prophecies this far into the future and then have them come true long after their death?
This man was a millionaire in the late 1800's which would be like a billionarie today. I ponder, but I do not worry ... what will come to pass will come to pass. Quote:
1) India will be occupied by china. 2) New diseases used as weapons will cause 25 million people to die. 3) Persia and Turkey will be conquered by what seem to be Russian troops. 4) Revolutionaries will instigate unrest and war in India and Egypt to facilitate the occupation of India and Europe. 5) The Russians will conquer the Balkans. 6) There will be great destruction in Italy. 7) The "red storm" will approach France through Hungary, Austria, northern Italy and Switzerland. France will be conquered from inside and outside. 8) American supply depots will fall into Russian hands. 9) Germany will be attacked from the east. 10) There will be a civil war, Germans will fight against Germans. 11) The Eastern Bloc will cause a civil war in England. 12) Russia will lead a mass attack against the United States, so U.S. forces will be prevented from reinforcing Europe. 13) New weapons will cause huge hurricanes and firestorms in the USA where the largest cities will be destroyed. --- Anton Johansson, Sweden, (1858 - 1909) Research (just google Anton Johansson): http://xmb.stuffucanuse.com/xmb/viewthread.php?tid=1315 http://www.jrnyquist.com/may14/new_page_2.htm |
On the German civil war portion - I can guess which side some of our members here will be fighting on! :D

It sounds quite a bit like Edgar Cayce's predictions. I wish I could find someone to accurately give me the lotto numbers though...:D

Reminds me of Morgan Robertson, who wrote about Futility - The Wreck of the Titan in which the Titan was nearly identical to the Titanic (the date of the sinking, size of the ship, number of passengers, and cause of the sinking were all identical!). He also wrote about both World Wars and "sun bombs", which could destroy entire cities and would blind anyone who looked right at them. These "sun bombs" were dropped by "motorized kites".
I think it's possible to predict the future (I've had deja vu moments), but I'm skeptical about the supernatural backgrounds that are supposedly involved with this sort of stuff. |
The "red storm"?
Damn, those commies all over again! Anyway, looks like it won't happen this year, maybe next year :p |

One of the pages even postulated that 9 times 99 might equal 1999- not on my calculator! (I'll leave that as an exercise for the reader:D ) I know we all want to believe but this rather streches incredulity. |
Nah those are lies.
I don't believe any man could see into the future at least man himself. |
Give me another scotch on the rocks, I'm having a vision!
|
A vision of pink elephants?

Except that the Vikings will never win a Superbowl, the rest of your predictions are probably on target... Question though: If telephone psychics are so good, why don't they call You? |
