How to further educe the noise level of the Seawolf?

I play mostly sigle player missions or campaigns in DW and I'd like to further reduce the noise level of the Seawolf class SSN.

It's been quoted that the Seawolf moving at 25 knots exhibit less noise than a Los Angeles class at pier.

Now I'd like to make that statement a reality in DW making the Seawolf the quietest sub/platform in the game.

But how? What should I do?

Taking the 688 noise level at 0 knots as reference I'd like to make the Seawolf at 25 knots to be as quiet as the 688 at 0 knots.

So please tutor me on how to mod the noise level of the Seawolf?:hmm:

PS: Is there a new model of the Trafalgar SSN? They are supposed to be equipped with a pump jet propulsion not a conventional 7 bladed propeller.

There are two adjustments you can make to get this result.

One way is to shift the base PSL of the SW down 5 points (I'm assuming you're using LWAMI values, BTW); from 55 to 50.

Another way is the flatten the rate of PSL increase with speed from +18 to +10. (the "c" value on the thust page)

Or, you can use any combination of the two in between.

Munchkin. :p

Hey I was meaning which file to modify and with what utility but thanks for the detailed info. I'm playing with the Alfa Tau mod btw.

So which file to modify and with what utility?

I'm thinking to modify the battery endurance of many SSKs in the game most importantly the Kilo.

The old Foxtrot has an endurance of 7 days at 3 knots speed. The current in-game Kilo has a much lesser endurance. It's not cool that even after cruising at relatively low speeds the Kilo already losing a significant portion of its battery capacity in mere hours.
