Help with .im files

Would any of you 'know it alls' out there know of what program I can get (free I hope) to open .im files. I had thought Gmax did but was wrong.
Anyone familiar with a gmax plugin maybe that will allow me to import it?

In advance...thanks guys...

Where is the file from?

There are a few programs that use this extension.

Winzip, XnView, Powerpoint, Instant Messenger, Nokia Multimedia Player etc......

Normally though the *.im extension is a compressed file as part of a installation routine and can't be directly opened/viewed.

Dan it has to do with a mesh body.im which im guessing is the mesh I need to load in order to manipulate or alter. Say reskin or even move number boards...

I have a viewer that allows me to see what the .im file looks like but I cannot change it...example

Ah, in that case as it's 3D content, you will never find a program to open/edit *.im files.

This extension was developed to protect the original creators work, once exported in that format, it's only viewable. Unless of course you have the original dev tools. Read Kashmir ala SH3.;)

Edit - Test it yourself, create a basic primitive, export it as *.im and the try to reopen it.
