I have DW running fine under Vista 64. What sort of hardware are you using other than your video card. Here is my setup for comparison.

ABIT IX38 Quad GT with a Intel Q6600 running at 3.0 Ghz with 4GB of ram. Dual ATI 4850's in cross fire with an Asux Xonar DX sound card. I am running all the latest drivers and I have also update my directX runtime as well.

Hit this link to update your directx. http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/d...displaylang=en

Also, what video card drivers are you using and are you running SP1 for vista as well?

Just to be safe, use an older driver.
As a last resort change videocards, go with an ATI they have great driver support on Vista, much better than Nvidia.

The game itself should run with no problem at all since it has no copyprotection to speak off.

How do you know it's GFX what crashes ?

DW has worked on my 8800gtx on vista 64 since it was released, with every graphics driver I've tried.

Your best bet is to look elsewhere.

Some details would be useful, exactly what errors are you stumbling across?

Stupid question: Did you try to copy it on your harddrive and install it from there? Works in many cases for me where the CD or DVD gives me problems during the installation.
