Thanks everyone!

Just have to say, I won't be on as much as I have in the past 9 months. In December I was diagnosed with congestive heart failure at the ripe old age of 37. I was bad enough that my my 1st echo showed my ejection fraction to be under an 18. I'll let you guys wiki that. Well, my cardiologist could only make me one promise, that was to make me feel better and going back to work was a fairy tale. Being the stubborn Pukie (polish/ukraine) that I am, I asked him what I needed to do to not feel better but to be better. In hindsight, I think he was great at reading people because he pushed me.

I worked my ass off for the last eight months, knowing it was probably for a lost cause and that even though I was showing improvement, it wasn't the numbers that doctors use as benchmarks for successful resolutions. I was prepared to have a difibulator put into my chest and figured I would start to prepare my stuff so I could have my duty disibility hearing, to continue to help support my wife and daughter. Well, I go back to work, full duty Thursday. It was the first time I saw my cardiologist smile, when my TWA test came back negative and the echo showed more improvement.

As he said "the human body is an amazing thing."

Thanks to all here that I've bantered with, argued with, laughed with and at, got upset with, screwed with and most of all, enjoyed the "company" with. I want to say without an outlet to help me forget about seriousness of life, I'd been on a gurney getting cut up next week.

Appreciate it, my brothers, even the leftist ones  .

Well $#!+

Puts my own so-called 'problems' in perspective. If there's anything I can do, PM me. Maybe we can talk subs, politics and life sometime.

Wow.

I don't know what to say except that I'm glad you're ok and I hope you won't make yourself too scarce.

Cheers:up:

Don't believe the doctors, thats why they call it "Practicing" medicine.

We will still be here to help you celebrate your 50th birthday.

I know from my own heart problems that there's nothing like getting the long face from the doctor to make a body appreciate life.

Good luck and Good Health.

Don't be a stranger.

Never fear, my wholly inaccurate logic needs to be practiced somewhere. Just got back from the Cubs/Brewers game. This may be the year for my lovable losers.
