Semi-dynamic campagn question
I just started up a new Sub Command 688i campaign and I noticed that if you are detected in the seccond mission by the Russians as you're leaving Connecticut, that in the next mission, Russian Anti submarine forces are given a much heavier presence than if you weren't detected in that mission. I'm just curious how to do this with the mission editor when making a campaign. I've been unable to duplicate it (And I don't know if it's even possible).

Ran into that one also. Dunno, I just blew the ruskies to kingdom come....I just gots to do it...

It is possible. The mission editor manual provides a reasonable guide to this. The way you do it is by creating a set of random groups in your second scenario, so one might be strong, the other weak, and so on. Then set a doctrine language script to generate the group you want dependent upon the objectives of the previous scenario. That's not too clear, is it? What you do is this:
1. Set objectives in scenario 1. 2. Create random groups of the platforms you want in scenario 2. 3. Create a series of doctrine language scripts in scenario 2, with the specific group generated dependent upon whether the objective in scenario 1 was acheived or not. |
Hehe. I'll give that manual another read through.

Make sure that you activate the doctrine language in the editor, though, gives you infinitely more options.
