Coordinated Attacks
 

(First for any forum police out there...yes I did do a search on this question before posting:D)

I'm just coming back to SH4 after putting it aside for a while. Is there any way of conducting a coordinated attack with another friendly submarine in SH4. In the back of my mind I seem to remember a comment that it was going to be in the next upgrade (U-boat missions??) but for all I can see that was just wishful thinking.

First there is no need to start your post with instructions. With or without a smiley face. This isnt those other forums. :shifty: It is in a word... rude. No forum police here were a polite and helpful society.

Now that is out of the way.

With the UBoat mod there is a way to 'call in' support ships and aircraft. You have to be within a certain range and click a pencil and click a unit or something like that. There is no coordinated attacks with other subs unless you want to play online with some friends.

Personally I never got it to work worth a darn and went back to the pacific campaign.

Your best bet would be to ask in the SH4 Uboat add on section.

He didn't. He said that he had used the forum search function. It's a fair thing to say as anyone who has frequented the forums will have seen that that's usually a question that will be asked. The 'forum police' reference may have been a bit harsh though, I'm not that bad!

Ah, you did a search on support, I didn't find anything either. I did a search on 'coordinated attacks' and only found a reference to it being something that may be looked into in the future for u-boats, nothing about US subs though.

I guess the search engine isn't very good at answering questions about features that don't exist. Like a blind man in a dark room, looking for a black cat... that isn't there.
