So check these Pics out

I think one of the characteristics of us who are into these types of games, is that alot of us are also modelers. I think its the fact that we can't be captians, or own our very own U-Boat so it's the closest we can come to fufilling these need.

Anyway, enough of trying to justify.....take a look at these

Ya Willkommen zu die welt von U-Boot VIIC 1942

This is the most extreme built model we ever saw. This is a 1/144 scale 18" built model from the inside out.
Each complete U-Boat comes in
8
individually built bulk heads all painted, all built, all crewed ready
for you two display it's incredible detail. You can have the sub displayed built or remove it's outer hull
to reveal the super detail inside each of the
8 sections with torpedoes firing or not you are the Captain.

Pretty cool. Could definitely use some better high res pics though, but still well done.

I have one of these, picked it up on Ebay for about £20. Not bad models for the price. There is one on Ebay now see http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Targa-1-144-Ge...3286.m63.l1177

They were discussed on the forum last year see http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/showthread.php?t=118329

Nice model for the price, but personally speaking, I would rather pay a little more and get extra detail (thickness of handrails being an example).

Very nice indeed:arrgh!: .

(p.s. I have one -Revell VII/C - gathering dust on top of my wardrobe, never get the time to finish it:damn: )

These are awesome. Don't try and justify yourself. Remember that 30,000 U-Boat sailors ended up fish food! I'd rather be a live nerd any day! I haven't put together a model since I was a kid, I may have to get back into it.

Very nice!
