Rant: Watchmen repeating "Schiff gesichtet" constantly on the same ship...
 

I spot a ship and accelerate the TC, but my watchmen can't stop repeating "Schiff gesichtet". Watch officer up or down...

Now it cracks up my nerve even more than three hours of depth charging! It makes me want to scream "I know we have spotted that damn ship, your Kaleu is not a retarded moron, you goddamn idiot!!!!!!!" :doh::stare:

I wish I could make them shut up... I wish I could throw them overboard... bash their skull on the side of the conning tower... anything to make them stop. :dead:

Whew, now I feel better.

it's a bug of SH3 - see GWX manual.

i think: because of a high wave the watchman loses a ship and than after the wave he can see the ship again and the software is to stupid to know, that this ship has been seen before.

in those situations i take all watchmen down from the deck into the ship and watch myself.

Wanna get rid of it ? Here is a simple way:

1. move ure watchcrew to the deckgun slots
2. remove the WA from the deck

Works as long as the waves are not to high.

Maybe they're allergic to something. Try getting them a good antihistimine like Benedryl or Zyrtec. Make sure to give them plenty of facial tissues.
They could also have colds as well.

I suppose that does get old, but better than "ALAAAAAAAAAAAAAARM"

to avoid this issue, GWX manual suggests to go a bit closer to the ship :yep:
