New boat and kills
 

If my old sub has, let say 10 kill flags and I recieve a new sub for a good patrol do I paint the old kills on the new sub or start fresh?

Actually, I have no idea having not even gotten 10 kills yet, but hey, you asked for someone to tell you you're wrong. :P

Oh man..if you get one flag for every kill ,and it is collective through your career....then by late 1944 your boat ought to be looking like a carnival tent and towing a couple of auxillary barges just to display the flags...:huh: ...unless of course they are tiny, tiny flags.....;)

Kills flags go with the boat, IMHO. Skipper gets credit for the tonnage of all the vessels that his boats sank while he commanded them.
