Hi SH3 community,

Im back from a long, long break. Too long, like almost a year. Im doing a fresh install of SH3, I need to do the patch and then was wondering if someone could please tell me or provide me with the link to download the newest grey wolves mod. Which in my opinion, is the only way to play the game.

Is it still the 4.3 patch or something like that that you need first? Thanks in advance for your help, as I am sure a topic like this probably pops up just about every other day.:know:

You'll need Stock SHIII + Patch 1.4b (from: http://www.silenthunteriii.com/uk/updates.php) , then go here for the rest of it:

There's new versions of JSGME and SH3 Commander available as well. JSGME ships with GWX and has an automatic update button on it, I can't remember exactly where I found SH3 Commander, but you can search for it.

2.1 is the latest version of GWX.

Yes you need to have a "clean" (unmodded) version of the game, patched to 1.4b. The cumulative (roll-up) patch is available here: http://www.silent-hunteriii.com/uk/updates.php if you need it. It wonlt let me install the 1.4 patch after it is downloaded. I hate computers.

It says in wont install because:

c:/programfiles/ubisoft/silenthunterIII/MissionEngine.dll:unknown version



Is it talking about the mission editor?

Make sure you are using the proper version of the patch for the type of install you have. Like I have the US DVD edition so I had to download the 3rd patch listed on the ubisoft website since that matched my version.
