Ok, I confess to you, 74% realism, but still what a luck to stumle on this one in the middleof the atlantic !! Plus no DD, Just the big 5, and nobody chases you after you send your torps. After having sunk the big 5, sunk the rest of the list on surface at the back of the convoy. Had 3 dead Sailors and was left with Hull Integrity 55%. That was worth it, I guess. JMV.

Easy peesy....now do it in a Type II

JMV 09-02-08 06:08 AM

Sure enough that couln't happen, even in a type VII.:p

What does that mean?

Sailor Steve 09-02-08 07:27 AM

It means he's using the full four-number grids, and he's either in AK 4164 or AK 4165.

predavolk 09-02-08 07:49 AM

Fantastic luck, but way to take advantage of it!

I know the 4 number system. I bold-ed the "( Heading 40% TB )" part, hoping everybody would notice it. This doesn't make sense.

Mittelwaechter 09-02-08 01:30 PM

40 degrees true bearing?

Pisces 09-02-08 01:42 PM

Perhaps, but what good would that heading do if the ship is sunk. Oh well, I guess I have to wait for JMV to clear this up.

bookworm_020 09-02-08 10:06 PM

You sank the Ohio! Some people in Malta are going to be unhappy with you!:yep:

JMV 09-03-08 03:02 AM

Yes, sorry guys, I meant the convoy was heading 40 Degrees. JMV

JMV 09-03-08 03:05 AM

From the Nelson to down the page it's one big convoy initially heading 40 Degrees True Bearing. Hope that's clear now if you happen to be in these waters at the same day and time.JMV
