Always nice to see that again.

I'm loving my Firefox plug-in that filters out comments with bad spelling and/or grammar.

Perfect for snobs and pedants. ;)

Are they soldiers who can dance or are they dancers dressed up as soldiers?

I'm skeptical.

Soldiers who can dance. That film was probably taken in the early 50's

I'm not sure but....I think I just got served.

There are a couple of versions of this film. The film itself I think is genuine looking at the background of Moscow but the music is different. What the hell it looks good and way better then the modern version.

Sorry to drag this one back up but I had my step-mother, who is Ukranian, take a look at this vid. The dancers are professional performers, who perform shows for troops, much like the USO puts on for U.S. soldiers.

So, for anyone who is interested, these are professional dancers and this is but one of several modified folk-dances they do, including one to "Kalinka"
