Apparently “Barack Obama’s big speech on Thursday night will be delivered from an elaborate columned stage resembling a miniature Greek temple.” When I heard this, I couldn’t help but be reminded of another famous world leader who also loved to give his power-speeches from a podium that resembled a Greek temple. A little bit of history first:
In two campaigns, starting in 1879, the Pergamon Altar in Pergamos Turkey, was excavated by a German archaeological team lead by Carl Humann. The altar was shipped out of the Ottoman Empire from the original location and was reconstructed in the Pergamon Museum in Berlin in the 19th century. Today the altar still sits in Berlin where it can be seen alongside other monumental structures such as the Ishtar Gate from Babylon.

In 1934 Adolph Hitler became the dictator of Germany. Hitler ordered construction of the Tribune at Zeppelin Field in Nuremberg specifically for the purpose of his Nazi rallies. Several volumes have been written detailing the
deeply occult nature of Hitler and the the Nazi regime. Not surprisingly then the
Nazi architect of the Zeppelintribüne, Albert Speer, actually used the Pergamon Altar as the model for what essentially became the premier Nazi pulpit. The Führer’s podium was located in the middle of the replica Pergamon Altar.

What is also noteworthy is that Biblical Scholars are in near universal agreement that it was this very Altar that was referred to by Jesus in the Book of Revelation as “the throne of Satan”:

To the angel of the church in Pergamum write: These are the words of him who has the sharp, double-edged sword. I know where you live—where Satan has his throne. —Revelation 2:12-13

Now, please do not get me wrong, I am not comparing Barak Obama to Satan. I’m comparing him to Hitler. First, the two are / were extraordinary orators who had seemingly magical powers to hypnotize the glassy eyed masses. Secondly, the two think very highly of themselves. Few will argue that barak Obama has done very little to discourage his Messiah-image. And now thirdly, we find that the two share common yet very unusual tastes: They both found it appropriate to model their respective power-podiums after Greek Temples dedicated to the “gods”. And lastly but most importantly both Barak Obama and Adolph Hitler share the commonality in that they both are proud to place their stamp of approval on the wholesale slaughter of millions of human beings. In Hitler’s case, it was those who God has referred to as “the apple of my eye”. And in Obama’s case, it is the death of the most innocent little lambs that this world has to offer; those who our creator no doubt would refer to as “the least of these”.

Hmmm... of course. By the way Hitler became chancellor in 1933 not '34. I think you have lost a few screws if you seriously believe that Barak Obama is like Hitler? I'm sorry, but thats the biggest load of BS I've heard for weeks!:damn:

I think some US Americans will never cease to amaze me with the amount of poop they can fling at the other party's candidate.

I didn't see that sorry, but even so... its completely off the wall c**p I wouldn't even take the effort to read the site lol. If anything the person resembling Hitler today is Mr Putin and his puppet Medvev (sp?), their territorial advances mimic Herr Hitlers history much more that Obamas Presidential ambitions. It would surprise me that the author is a member of one of these anti-black hate groups that seem to be dotted around the USA.

The quoted statement is uncalled, unrealistic and imho out of place.
Sad, really, that some people lack an apparent knowledge or recognition of over 6 million people that died in the Concentration Camps because of a single man.
If you have a problem with Greek Temples, you should go to Washington DC and demolish almost all Government buildings.

Until the author brought in the killings bit, it is a bit tough to argue.

Whether or not AH was a mad, psychopathic nutjob, he was a fantastic orator as pointed out in the article, and he certainly appealed to the masses of the time. Not unlike Obama, not unlike KRudd, and many many other leaders since his day.

That is, though, where the similarity stops.
