IIRC there have been 4 rape convictions against women in the UK. (Not statutory).

Some of the women teachers who have been caught at this are hotties, but some look like driftwood. I told a buddy that i wonder where these teachers were when i was in school, but he reminded me that our teachers then looked like Nickimbees' bulldogs. Yikes!

The law expects an adult to understand the rights and wrongs or what is acceptable and unnaceptable in the standards set by the law for society.

I have to confess that I am a total hypocrite about this issue.

If a male teacher has sex with an underage girl, I want that teacher in jail.

If a female teacher has sex with an underage boy, I don't see what the big deal is.

My hypocrisy about this bothers me a lot. It does not make sense, but that is my initial reaction. It is most strange as what is bad for one should be bad for the other.

Am I the only one who is hypocritical about this issue?

i go further why not making an average of the sexual maturity ejaculation for males and the periods for females and make this age average the legal majority , i mean isn't it that isn't the species reproduction the most important for our species

Sexual maturity is reached for most well before the age at which a young person
is able to take responsibility for their own body. Often as early as 5 - 7 years.

It would be like legalizing alcohol at the age you became able to drink!

@ jpm1: there are many problems involved, not the least of which that underage children are the property of their parents, not themselves. They are not ready to take responsibility for themselves, and it is very wrong for another adult to assume they are, especially for selfish reasons. As Letum just mentioned, would it be right for her to give him alcohol? Let him drive her car? No, and no matter how good an idea he might have thought it was, it's not her decision to make.
