Or could you put thunderbird 2 into Monarch colours?
Any takers???

If you are looking for help by a talented artist on this board, I am not it. I can probably morph the two though. Not sure what it would look like.

What are you looking for exactly?

I'm on it. ;)

Give me 24 hours.

Anything else you want on it?

Letum 08-22-08 11:16 PM

Is this what you want the aircraft to look like?

(This is just a WIP) no details/styling etc etc yet

Oh, and do you want it to be animated like my sig of still?
(Animation reduces image quality)

That is truly excellent. If you can get the number 13 on it behind the cockpit it will be perfect!!A static version is fine.I am going to use it it on my union forum.

Just the thunderbird without all the lettering will be great.Definitely leave the smoky engines in!I have a different name over on my other forum. The image must be 256x256 and no more than 20k .
You are a very talented person Letum. What does an Airbus painted like a thunderbird look like but retaining the Monarch logo on the fuselage??

Platapus 08-23-08 12:33 PM

I am so envious of people who can create artwork like that.

SUBMAN1 08-23-08 12:37 PM

How did you do that Letum? I'd be curious to give it a go myself.

I used a rather expensive program called 3ds Max, however there are plenty of
other free programs that can do just as well.

All take quite some time to learn, but it is fun.
If you are interested and have some time, give me a PM and I will see if I can set
you in the right direction.

Linton:
I am going to struggle to fill 256x256 with just the ship and 256x256 is a strange shape for a sig.....

.

I find it cool that you managed to port that into 3dsmax. That is where I'm having issue. I have an older version of 3dsmax around here somewhere (from about 2002/2003 time frame), but never understood how one would import an object without physically drawing it.

I have Blender too, but most of my drawings were always 2D in AutoCAD LT's various revs. I must look into this importation thing.

Thanks man!
