Two New YouTube Videos on World War II
My subscription thing showed up:

Some rarely seen colour footage there...but ideally I would have liked to have seen some U-boat footage
|
Then you'll be happy to hear that he's working next on several films about the Kriegsmarine and then some on the Luftwaffe (maybe we'll get lucky and he'll upload them today).
|
I've seen some of the footage before but these are great videos, especially the second one.:D
BTW, Happy B-day since I haven't posted a birthday message in your B-day thread. I give you the gift of overly verbose posts by a 25-yr old that thinks he knows everything. Aren't you proud of the generations that followed yours?:D |
Damn kids with your music...:rotfl: ;)

Luftwaffe gun cam film:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TryEUUkWBwA Erich also has a question that I can't answer. He has a WW1 video that's in an .OGG format. Since Windows Media Player doesn't accept .OGG files, he needs to convert it to a .WMV or .AVI file. I don't know of any programs that can do this (and the results turned up on Google are completely useless for his problem). Anyone got an idea? |
Download VLC Media player, it plays .ogg files. Im assuming that you got the video from a game, perhaps COD, since it is encoded in the .ogg format and it seems to be a popular format.
|
No, no. He needs to CONVERT a .OGG file to a .WMV file (or an .AVI file).
