Well we have lierbirds here in America too.

They tend to flock together and roost here

Unfortunately, despite our best efforts, the American Lierbird still refuses to become endangered. The American D. Representativus can have a lifespan of over 50 years depending on the state they originate from.
Every two years there is a national effort to rid our country of this pest but our efforts have been mostly fruitless. The ability of a state to whelp a D. Representativus to replace one that has been removed from the roosting place is of of the leading factors preventing us from eliminating this pest that costs the nation billions of dollars in damages.
