1001 things you can do with a Wii

#1...

If you have not seen this... it is cool! (apolgies if this has already been done)

If you have worn out the gimmick of "doing the motions" of sports etc on your Wii, and have resorted to what most people end up doing - sitting on the couch and just flicking your wrist to get that "hole in one", rather than doing the whole standing up thing and knocking over furniture while you play...

...you can turn your Wii remote and sensor it a very convincing solution to Head-Tracking in Virtual Reality.

I'm not... yet, but I'm a PS fan all the way. ;)

I've already seen that, don't know if it was here or on another forum. It's still pretty cool.

I agree PS3 all the way :D

I use mine for gaming (obviously), streaming from my media server, and, well all sorts of entertainment...

...as for the Wii - at E3 they "launched" an add-on for the remote to make it "even more accurate". Don't they mean it did not work properly in the first place? Looks like people are being scammed into paying for this add-on (fix), when they should have their not-so-accurate remotes replaced!

1. Throw it in the bin and go out for a walk and some fresh air. :smug:

Yea I like The PS system more than the rest. Dont like Xbox that much because there is too many issues. and I dont care for wii because you actualy have to get up to play it. Not much fun if you hurt your leg or something like that. (shouldnt have to work to play a vedio game.)

I like the Wii, have one for the little lady but the graphics suck a$$ and apart from Golf there isn't another game that interests me. Still makes a good door stop.

Ug! Hurry up. That MGS4 itch must be really annoying by now.

PS. Don't tell Stabiz but that Heavy Rain post I made......it a PS3 exclusive.:rotfl:

I wonder how many PS3 users we have here on SS?:hmm:

In my opinion Wii and PS/Xbox can hardly compare....apples and oranges.

Just like PCs and Consoles

SUBMAN1 08-08-08 12:42 PM

I want to buy a PS3 just to take it apart. Need to see exactly what makes it tick.

Well, it definitely has some great processing power. The thing I like about consoles, is the switch on and play, without the hassle of conflicting drivers, finding patches - and of course - you can not beat playing a game in a comfy armchair :D
